Check-In & Packet Pick-Up
With more participants each year, we are going to have two days of pre-race packet pickup; both will be at FootZone in downtown Bend. FootZone is located at 842 NW Wall, right across from the Tower Theater. Please do your best to pick up your packet at FootZone, as this will help alleviate lines on race morning. The packet pickup volunteers, i.e., my parents, greatly appreciate your help with this.
Friday, April 6, 3 p.m. – 6 p.m.
Saturday, April 7, 10 a.m. – 6 p.m.
Also, in the Sisters Middle School gym, April 8, 6 a.m. – 15 minutes before your race starts. There is no packet pick-up or race day registration available.

We will have a post-race feast featuring Longboard Louie’s catering with their excellent burrito bar (from full-on carnivore to full-on vegan, and everything in between), Sisters Bakery treats, and other food and drink starting about 11:30 a.m., with an awards ceremony about 12:30 p.m. for the 20 mile and about 2 p.m. for the 40 mile. All participants will be able to shower in the Sisters Middle School locker rooms.
Prize Money! $100 to 1st Overall Female and Male in both races; $50 to 2nd Overall Female and Male in both races; $100 to 1st Masters (40+) Female and Male in both races.
Top 3 overall female and male, and top masters female and male in both races will receive some cool schwag from our sponsors. Also, the top dog in the 20 mile will receive a bag of doggy goodness!
All finishers will receive a super cool pair of stylin’ Rumble finisher’s socks. Yes, this is the sock that started the whole finisher-sock craze! Some of you may wonder, why socks instead of shirts? Well, I figure that most runners have lots and lots and lots of race shirts, many of which never get worn. I also figure that most runners go through socks pretty quickly. So I thought it would be fun to give something that runners wear-out fairly quickly, and not give something that runners tend to already have too many of. Plus, the socks are really cool (and since 2013, they are the Drymax Lite Trail Running sock, still with the same cool Rumble logo, designed way back in 2003 by Bronco Billy).
Also, be sure to look for your name on the random prize-drawing table for some great stuff from our sponsors.
The Rumble simply could not happen without the support of these wonderfully supportive sponsors: Montrail, FootZone (only sponsor that’s been with us all 15 years), Drymax, iRunFar, Bogg’s Trail Butter, Nuun, Gu, Run Wild Adventures, Central Oregon Running Klub, Sisters Multisport, USDA Forest Service – Deschutes Natl. Forest – Sisters Rangers District. Please support them when you can.
